Welcome to Cledan Cottage

Sue and Den Slocombe, together with their cat Smidge would like to welcome you to "Cledan, their cosy early nineteen-century cottage, named after the small river running at the bottom of the garden.

Each bedroom is equipped with a hair-dryer, clock radio, and a hospitality tray - set with a choice of teas, coffees and biscuits, which are all organic/Fairtrade-sourced. The small fridge contains a selection of drinks which are priced, and a jug of fresh milk.

The ingredients of our meals are seasonal, local and organic wherever possible, freshly prepared and cooked on our Rayburn

Local Information

LLlanon is a small coastal West Wales village surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Ceredigion, on the main A487 trunk road between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth.

The cottage is a ten minute walk from the Wales Coast Path which is an 870 mile continuous path around the Welsh coastline. Officially opened in 2012, it is the first of its kind in the world. The village is on the main bus route between Cardiff in the south and Bangor in the north and is therefore suitable for all; car owners, walkers and bus travellers and makes the perfect base for exploring Mid/West Wales at any time of year..
